Jamaica eliminated from 2012 Caribbean Cup:-ANTIGUA - The big news at the 2012 Caribbean Cup Championship in Antigua is the elimination of Jamaica from the tournament as the defending champion. The Reggae Boyz lost two of their three group games. The first loss to newcomers French Guiana and after playing Martinique to a scoreless draw the Boyz lost their third game 1-0 to Cuba in a must win situation. ... Trinidad and Tobago qualify for 2013 Gold Cup:- Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors defeated the Dominican Republic 2-1 in their last group game to reach the semi final of the 2012 Caribbean Cup Championship. The deal was not sealed with the win however, as the Warriors got the much needed help when Haiti defeated host Antigua and Barbuda 1-0 for T&T to advance.  .. Jamaica beat USA to take lead and driver's seat:- Group A - -Jamaica Reggae Boyz defeated USA 2-1 on goals by Rodolph Austin and Luton Shelton in the 22nd and 67th minute respectively. Jamaica is in sole possession of first place of Group A with 7 points.  Guatemala moved into second place (4 points) with USA after defeating Antigua and Barbuda which is in last place on one point.
